On the 25th of May 2021 in Gosford New South Wales, paramedics were called to a drug overdose call, resulting in the death of a Gosford man. The man shared the house with NRL Player Nicho Hynes's mum Jullie Hynes. The video was released by the Gosford Courts on the 1st of February 2023. Jullie Hynes faces charges at this time for not the death of the friend but drug-related charges. Police allege that the man who died as a result of the overdose, inhealed a large bag of heroin enough to mistakenly kill him. On the 1st of February, Jullie Hynes mother of a Cronulla player as plead not guilty to the charges of knowingly taking part in the supply of prohibited drugs.
