When they got closer, they observed two men, later identified as 24-yearold Matthew DeJesus of Paramus and 27-year-old Sid Ali Benameur of Jersey City, physically fighting each other on the floor. The officers broke up the two men. Members of the Stevens Institute of Technology Police Department and the New Jersey Transit Police Department responded to the scene to assist. Both men were brought to Hoboken Police Headquarters. They both refused medical attention. DeJesus and Benameur were both charged with simple assault, processed, and later released on a summons.
