On May 21, 2023, Whatcom County Sheriff's deputies stopped a vehicle driven by a 20-year-old driver. She admitted to having one beer. She was asked to perform standardized field sobriety tests, which included a portable breath test. The result of the PBT was not revealed in the video. However, she was arrested for DUI and minor in possession of alcohol and at the sheriff's station, she submitted to an evidential breath test (EBT). Documentation received from the Sheriff's Office indicates the result of the EBT was 0.187% BAC.
