This intense bodycam video from December 5, 2022, captures a wild scene during the arrest of Daniel Hilts, a 32-year-old from Punta Gorda, Florida, at Anthony’s Restaurant & Pub in Joliet, Illinois. Shot inside a police car at 1:50 AM, this YouTube Short shows Hilts, handcuffed, panicking as he’s told he’s being taken to county jail, pleading, “They’re bringing me to county right now. For the record, please, I didn’t do nothing wrong.” He expresses confusion, saying, “This guy’s got something against me,” and feels misled about his situation. This heated moment is perfect for true crime fans. The trouble started when Hilts, kicked out of Anthony’s for causing a scene, tried to drive his car, leading Officers Joseph Robinson and Robert Bukala to step in.
