🚨 Branson PD Pursuit — Suicidal Driver With Family in Vehicle (May 31, 2025) Branson officers responded to a chaotic and dangerous situation after multiple 911 calls reported a male threatening suicide, armed with a .45 caliber pistol, and driving intoxicated with his wife and children inside the vehicle. Dispatch tracked the phone to several locations along W. 76 Country Blvd as the suspect — Jerimiah Mills — continued moving. When Sgt. Dixon located the silver Dodge Ram, Mills flipped him off and immediately fled, accelerating into the center turn lane and passing multiple vehicles. Officers initiated a pursuit as Mills drove recklessly through heavy traffic, running red lights, crossing into oncoming lanes, and reaching speeds between 70–90 mph on State Hwy 376, the Ozark Mountain Highroad, and Hwy 248. As Mills approached Gretna Road, Branson officers deployed spike strips, successfully deflating all four tires. Despite the disabled vehicle, Mills continued fleeing, driving onto Pirate Drive and through the Cedar Ridge school campus. Officers attempted to box him in, but Mills used the grass to evade before finally coming to a stop. Mills refused commands, repeatedly dropping his hands out of view. Due to threats of a firearm, officers held lethal cover while K9 Rico was deployed, prompting Mills to surrender. His wife and children were safely removed from the vehicle. A search of the truck found no firearm, despite Mills’ earlier claims. Mills was transported for medical clearance and booked into the Taney County Jail. Charges Submitted: • Aggravated Fleeing a Stop or Detention (Felony D) • DWI – Person Less Than 17 YOA in Vehicle (Misdemeanor A) • Additional traffic and endangerment‑related offenses Sentencing details at end of the video.
