In the end, both suspects were charged with failing to keep tropical ornamental marine life species alive and they were cited for fishing without a license. Akion was also charged with interfering or obstruction of an FWC officer. Both individuals entered pre-trial diversion programs. Both individuals were ordered to pay $350.00 in costs and fees for the criminal charges. The fees were later paid and the charges were dropped. As of the time of making this video, the court records show Akion has not paid his $55.00 fine for fishing without a license.
