On July 9th, 2023, Officer Hammar and Haddad were dispatched to Rivers Casino regarding an allegation of battery in Des Plaines, Illinois. The casino's security representative advised that two bar patrons were involved in a verbal altercation when one threw a drink at the other. When officers initially spoke to the woman in question, she gave them a fictitious name and date of birth. When attempting to learn more about the incident, the woman became irate and demanded to leave.
