Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: At 1:48 AM on January 10, 2022, Officer Sihoon Chung saw a white 2021 Honda CR-V speeding north on Grand Avenue. The car swerved between lanes. Officer Chung turned on his lights and stopped the driver, Windi Achegiron, at Harrison Street. The officer smelled alcohol when he spoke to Windi. She struggled to find her documents. At first, she said she had not been drinking, but then she admitted it. Once Officer Javier Urena arrived, Windi had to do field sobriety tests. Officer Chung first checked her eyes for nystagmus. He saw a lack of smooth pursuit and movement before 45 degrees. Next was the Walk and Turn test. Windi failed to touch heel-to-toe, turned wrong, and missed the step count. She refused the One Leg Stand test because she had drunk too much. Officer Chung arrested her for driving under the influence. He based this on her driving, the smell of alcohol, and her failed tests. Her car was held for 12 hours under John's Law. The officer took her to the Leonia Police Department. Windi heard the standard operator statement in Spanish. She agreed to a breath test. Her BAC was 0.19%, which is more than double the legal limit. She told police she drank five Coronas at Amanecer bar in West New York. A sober adult signed a liability warning, and police released her. Windi received tickets for speeding, failure to keep right, and DUI. On May 2, 2022, a court found her guilty of the DUI. She paid 640 dollars in fines and spent 12 hours at a driver resource center. The other two tickets were dropped in a plea deal. Windi did not stop. She was arrested for another DWI in Palisades Park on February 24, 2024. She got a third DWI in the same town on July 4, 2025.
