A routine late-night traffic stop in Port Charlotte, Florida, quickly escalates after deputies say the driver ran a stop sign, swerved across the road, and was driving with a suspended license. During the encounter, she discusses a domestic violence situation, admits to drinking, refuses field sobriety exercises, and is eventually arrested for DUI. But the situation becomes even more chaotic when deputies attempt to secure her in the patrol vehicle. The encounter leads to additional allegations involving resisting an officer and drug paraphernalia. The later court case resulted in no-contest pleas to DUI and driving with a suspended license, followed by probation, community service, DUI school, a victim-impact panel, and a vehicle impound.
