On August 3, 2025, at approximately 1:57 a.m., an officer with the Key West Police Department was flagged down by security personnel regarding a white female who had previously been asked to leave the property but had returned. Upon arrival, the officer observed the woman standing outside and refusing to comply with requests to leave. Staff advised that they wanted her officially trespassed from the premises. The officer activated his body-worn camera and attempted to separate the woman from the crowd by asking her to speak with him in a nearby alley. He then attempted to obtain her name and date of birth in order to issue the trespass warning, but she refused to provide the information. She stated that she did not need to identify herself because she was not going to jail. Despite being advised that she was required to provide identification in connection with the trespassing investigation, the woman continued to refuse. She then got in the officer’s face and again stated she would not identify herself. Moments later, she pointed in a direction and took off running on foot. The officer gave chase and took her into custody without incident. She was transported to the detention center for processing, where her identity was confirmed using Rapid ID. Based on the totality of the circumstances, she was charged with resisting an officer without violence after fleeing during an active trespassing investigation and refusing to comply with lawful commands. #bodycam #police #cops #bwc #policebodycamera #copcam #copcar #arrest #arrested #bwc 📢 Legal & Content Disclaimer The individuals featured in this video are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
