On Saturday, February 1, 2025, at approximately 7:58 p.m., police officers located a stolen vehicle in the parking lot of a business in the 6000 block of Oxon Hill Road. The car had been reported stolen earlier that day in a carjacking incident. While officers were monitoring the vehicle, a woman entered it and began driving. Officers from Prince George’s County Police, Forest Heights Police, and Edmonston Police attempted to stop the vehicle, but the driver refused to comply. She continued driving before crashing into the rear of the same parking lot. The driver, later identified as 23-year-old Aniyah Redd, then exited the vehicle and attempted to cross I-495 on foot. While doing so, she was struck by two unrelated vehicles. She was pronounced dead at the scene. The occupants of the involved vehicles were unharmed and remained on-site until investigators arrived. 0:00 - Intro 0:20 - Pursuit Dashcam 1 1:47 - Pursuit Dashcam 2 3:00 - Officer 1 bodycam 3:49 - Incident 6:31 - Officer 2 bodycam 7:52 - Officer 3 bodycam Disclaimer: The following content contains graphic scenes of violence that may be disturbing to some viewers.
