Martin County, Florida – August 7, 2025 Deputies responded to a call about an unwanted guest after a woman reported that a male friend was on her property without permission and refusing to leave. She told dispatchers she feared for her safety due to his behavior. When deputies arrived, they encountered an extremely intoxicated and uncooperative man who refused to leave the property. During the investigation, he allegedly shoved deputies multiple times, paced aggressively, clenched his fists, and repeatedly yelled profanities. As tensions escalated, the man advanced toward deputies near the doorway while displaying what officers described as an aggressive fighting stance. Deputies quickly moved to stop the confrontation and took him into custody. The suspect was arrested and charged with two counts of Battery on a Law Enforcement Officer and one count of Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer. Court records show he was later sentenced to 12 months in jail, ordered to provide a DNA sample, and assessed various court costs and fees. This incident was captured on police body camera footage.
