On August 18, 2025, deputies with a fugitive apprehension unit attempted to serve an out-of-state extraditable felony warrant in Flagler County, Florida. The warrant stemmed from charges including two counts of Assault and Robbery, along with a Violation of Probation. During surveillance, deputies observed Taylor entering a Smoke Shop. Moments later, she ran out with an employee chasing after her. When deputies attempted to stop her in the parking lot, she backed out in her vehicle and fled at a high rate of speed. She was later located at her residence, where she again resisted. After initially refusing to exit her vehicle, she was removed and secured in handcuffs. While deputies were confirming her information, she took another opportunity to run—this time on foot—before quickly being caught. The stolen item from the Smoke Shop was recovered from her vehicle and returned. The employee declined to press charges, but she was trespassed from the business.
