On April 09, 2024, officers from Elyria, Ohio, responded to a disturbance at a local car wash, where a patron had allegedly caused an altercation with staff and unapologetically stolen several cleaning wipes. The suspect then ignored officers' requests to leave the premises, and upon her arrest, requested assistance from bystanders while alluding to racial profiling. Once in custody, the suspect realized she had complicated her own plans to pick up her daughter after school.
