On 09/13/2024 at 12:32 PM, Secaucus Police responded to Walmart located at 400 Park Plaza Drive on a report of a shoplifting. During the investigation, the police arrested a 20-year-old female, Hennessy Diaz-Paulino of Union City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)], Hindering Apprehension [2C:29-3B(4)] for providing false information to the police and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. The police also arrested a 21-year-old male, Daniel Canelo of Union City, NJ along with a 20-year-old male, Juan Espinoza of Union City, NJ for Shoplifting [2C:20-11B(2)] and Conspiracy to commit Shoplifting [2C:5-2A(1)]. Diaz-Paulino along with Mr. Canelo and Mr. Espinoza were issued their complaint summonses and were released from police custody. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty
