Akron Police responded to a shots fired call at 1632 Seth Robert Dr. Apt A. Upon arrival, officers heard crying and screaming from inside. Approaching the apartment's front door, they found William Harrison lying motionless on the floor while Jordan Davis, visibly upset, was beside him. Sharaye Owens, identified later as the suspect, stood nearby unarmed. Officers secured the scene and questioned Owens, who admitted to shooting William. She was arrested without incident and placed into Car 6. Owens explained that she and William had been arguing when he allegedly pushed her onto the couch and began to strangle her. Claiming self-defense, she stated she grabbed William's loaded Glock and fired a single shot, striking both William and Jordan. William succumbed to his injuries at the scene, while Jordan sustained a gunshot wound to his left bicep and was transported to Akron City Hospital by AFD Medics. Following her arrest, Owens was taken to the 6th floor for further questioning by detectives and subsequently to AGMC. Evidence collected included a loaded Glock 19, a magazine, and a 9mm shell casing. ⚠️Note: Footage from this video was obtained via the Ohio Public Records Act (R.C. 149.43) All persons featured on the channel are to be presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
