On Saint Patrick’s Day, 2023, at around 1:11 am, an officer in Floridawas driving eastbound when he saw a white Toyota driving the wrong way against traffic. Immediately the officer conducted a traffic stop of the white vehicle and requested backup officers to assist. The officer spoke with the driver and told him he had witnessed the suspect drive his white Toyota 4 Runner the wrong way on the road. The suspect told the officer he was coming from his hotel. However, the officer told him that was not true as he had seen him leave a nearby parking lot. As the officer spoke with the driver, he noted he could smell alcohol from the vehicle and that it grew stronger when the driver spoke. The driver was asked to exit his vehicle when officers noticed his shorts were wet on one side. An officer present asked the driver “if he had urinated on himself,” to which he told the officer he had. While questioning the driver on where he was coming from, he continued to give mixed answers and not be truthful with officers. Upon officers' search of the white Toyota, a mason jar with 15 grams or 0.5 oz of “green leafy” substance was found, which was submitted into records for destruction by Cocoa Beach Police Department. The suspect was arrested and later charged with Driving Under the Influence. The suspect was also given two citations concerning the incident for Expired Registration (6 Months or Less) and Operating a Vehicle on the Wrong Side of the Road. #bodycam #arrest #dui ~~~ ** Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only.
