On April 20, 2022, in La Crosse, Wisconsin, officers converged in a parking garage to apprehend a man named Rhett, who was facing charges of bail jumping. When police found him, he was awoken by police. He was immediately uncooperative. Police struggled with Rhett to get him cuffed, once he was cuffed, he was escorted to a police squad car. While he was being taken to the squad, he headbutted the officer that was escorting him. Rhett was charged with battery and resisting or obstructing an officer. Please note I have censored racial and homophobic slurs spoken by the suspect. I have also censored the suspects waist as he was only wearing underwear during the encounter. ❓Inquiries: LensOfLaw@gmail.com ☕Support Me: https://www.buymeacoffee.com/lensoflaw 🔗My Links: https://lensoflaw.com The content we highlight is designed to provide a real-life glimpse into the encounters of law enforcement, not to demean or belittle those featured.
