On June 16, 2024, Columbus, Ohio police received frantic text messages describing a violent domestic attack in progress — but by the time officers arrived, the suspect, Devon Blair, was already gone. What followed was a five-hour, multi-district manhunt through backyards, apartment complexes, and even across a freeway, all captured on body camera and drone footage. Inside the home, officers found 19-year-old Brooke Deini unresponsive. She was later pronounced dead — and investigators discovered she was 14 weeks pregnant. Family members told police the violence had become "normal" in the home, raising hard questions about missed warning signs and a 911 dispatch system that redirected the initial call. This video breaks down the full timeline: the initial dispatch call, the backyard chase, the family interviews, the drone search, Devon Blair's arrest and courtroom outburst, and his eventual 48-to-53.5-year prison sentence after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter, felonious assault, and strangulation. 🚨 Do you think the dispatcher or family should face accountability, or was the court system to blame for letting a known abuser out on bond?
