** (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) ** Video from a squad car dash camera shows a very close call for a sheriff's deputy and a driver he had stopped in northern Minnesota. As the Becker County Sheriff's deputy was talking with the driver of the stopped vehicle, a sport utility vehicle came within inches of hitting them after its driver lost control. The video shows the deputy running out of the way and the driver of the car pulling the door shut just before the SUV slides by. The deputy credited the rumble strips along the edge of the road for giving him the little warning he had. No one was hurt, but the sheriff's office says the video is a serious reminder for drivers to slow down for stopped emergency vehicles.
