On March 27th, 2026, one of the greatest athletes in the history of sports was arrested on the side of a road in Jupiter Island, Florida and the bodycam footage tells a story that no press release ever could. In this video, we break down the full Tiger Woods DUI arrest, walking you through exactly what happened from the moment deputies arrived on scene to the moment he was placed in the back of a Martin County Sheriff's cruiser. Tiger Woods, 50 years old and a 15-time Major champion with 82 PGA Tour wins, was driving his black Land Rover SUV down South Beach Road when he clipped the back of a pickup truck pulling a pressure washer trailer. The impact caused his SUV to roll completely onto its side. Woods crawled out through the passenger door on his own and what followed over the next several hours is one of the most jaw-dropping celebrity arrest stories in recent memory. When deputies arrived, Woods was on one knee in a lawn, phone still in hand. He told the responding officer he had just been talking to "the president" widely believed to be President Donald Trump, who later told reporters that Woods was a "very close friend" and that he felt "so badly" about the incident. The bodycam footage reveals a composed but clearly impaired Tiger Woods. Deputies noted bloodshot and glassy eyes, extremely dilated pupils, lethargic and slow movements, and profuse sweating despite sitting in an air-conditioned patrol vehicle. Woods admitted to taking prescription medication but denied consuming any alcohol -- and the breathalyzer backed him up, registering 0.000. Woods refused to submit to a urine test, which under Florida's new Trenton's Law is itself a misdemeanor charge. Deputy Tatiana Levenar conducted the field sobriety test and ultimately told Woods: "I do believe your normal faculties are impaired and you're under an unknown substance, so at this time you are under arrest for DUI." Woods responded: "You're going to arrest me?" Once placed in the back of the cruiser, he leaned back, closed his eyes, and muttered three words -- "this is fun." Woods was booked into Martin County Jail, held for eight hours per Florida DUI law, and released on $1,150 bond around 11 p.m. He was charged with three misdemeanors: DUI with property damage, refusal to submit to a lawful urine test, and careless driving. He has since pleaded not guilty, with his legal team indicating plans to challenge the charges. A judge later approved Woods leaving the United States to seek treatment at an overseas inpatient facility. This is Tiger's second DUI arrest in Florida, his first came in 2017 when he was found asleep behind the wheel. 👉 Subscribe for more real police bodycam footage, arrests, and criminal investigations.
