On February 1, 2025, the 20-year-old driver of a vehicle cut across an intersection directly in front of Pullman Police Officer Lambley. The police report indicates that Officer Lambley had to slow her vehicle in order to avoid a collision. Officer Lambley stopped the vehicle and made contact with the driver, who admitted that she had consumed one Twisted Tea 30 minutes prior. Officer Lambley asked the woman to step out of the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests. Officer Lambley also asked the woman to submit to a portable breath test, but the woman declined the voluntary test. The woman was placed under arrest for Driving Under the Influence (DUI) and was transported to the Pullman Police Station. After speaking with a defense attorney, the woman agreed to submit to the evidential breath test. The result was 0.096% BAC. All suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
