On April 25, 2025, Roswell Police Officers attempted to stop a vehicle that had just been stolen. The vehicle was being driven by a 27-year-old woman who decided to flee from police. She accelerated at a high rate of speed, ran a red traffic light, and crashed into an innocent motorist at an estimated 100 miles per hour. Officers determined that the woman was under the influence. At the hospital, a search warrant was obtained for her blood. After receiving medical clearance, she was transported and booked into the Chaves County Detention Center. Her charges are listed at the end of the video. Her case is still open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
