Pullease was later charged with four crimes, including felony battery on a law-enforcement officer and evidence tampering. Prosecutors also alleged that he warned members of his platoon not to discuss their “dirty laundry” with other officers and wiped his cellphone after learning he was under criminal investigation. Nearly four years later, the case has been transferred into Broward Veterans Court. If Pullease successfully completes the treatment program, all four charges could be dismissed without a jury ever deciding the case. Pullease has not been convicted, and the charges remain allegations.
