This video features real police bodycam footage from Flagler County, Florida, where an 18-year-old woman was arrested after allegedly spitting on a sheriff's deputy while being transported to a mental health facility. According to the Flagler County Sheriff's Office, deputies initially responded to reports of an intoxicated and distressed woman. After determining that she met the legal criteria for involuntary protective custody, deputies began transporting her for a mental health evaluation. During the transport, investigators say the woman became increasingly combative, kicked the patrol vehicle, banged her head against the partition, and informed deputies that she had slipped out of her handcuffs. When deputies attempted to secure her again, authorities allege she spat on a deputy, striking him in the face and hair. Deputies then applied a spit hood and additional restraints before transporting her for medical clearance. Authorities charged her with battery on a law enforcement officer. Court records show she was later released on a $2,500 bond. Watch the full bodycam footage to see how deputies responded to the escalating situation and safely brought it under control. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law. 🔔 Subscribe to Body Cam Stories for real police bodycam footage, arrest videos, and fact-based case breakdowns. ⭐ Join the channel to support future public records requests and exclusive bodycam content. #bodycam #policefootage #policebodycam
