On January 12th, 2023, officers in New Mexico responded to a call at a Marshall's department store regarding a shoplifting incident. The female suspect was apprehended in the parking lot in a silver sedan, attempting to leave. Despite repeated commands to exit her vehicle, she resisted, leading officers to extract her physically. A subsequent search revealed she had concealed approximately $558.99 worth of goods, including cosmetics, purses, and clothing. The situation escalated at the police station and later at the hospital. After being transferred for booking, the suspect continued arguing with officers about the shoplifting incident before being taken to a nearby hospital. At the hospital, her behavior turned combative. She resisted changing into a hospital gown, physically attacking officers and medical staff. The suspect was charged with Shoplifting (over $500 but not more than $2,500), Tampering with Evidence, three counts of Battery upon a Peace Officer, and two counts of Resisting, Evading, or Obstructing an Officer. #police #bodycam #cops ~~~ ** Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only.
