Shelby County Sheriff's Office March 25th, 2022 --- Deputy David Egbert was dispatched to a local farm on reports of wild dogs attacking farm animals. Upon arriving the deputy saw the dogs and saw a farm animal that was attacked. The deputy, fearing for the safety of himself and the people on the farm euthanized the two dogs. The owner of the dogs came forward and was identified as 39 year old Christina Huecker, she was cited for ORC 955.22, Dogs Running at Large, $25 total. Christina has pled Not Guilty and plans to fight the fine, I will update the description with any results.
