buymeacoffee.com/BlueLineLens On February 20, 2025, at approximately 5:05 p.m., Police Officers Leroy Sherrill and Alexander Miller responded to the Hoboken Shelter, 300 Bloomfield St., on reports of a disorderly individual refusing to leave. An on-scene investigation revealed the man, later identified as 34-year-old Jesus Andrade of Weehawken, had been previously banned from the shelter. He appeared to be intoxicated and became agitated and verbally aggressive, suggesting he wanted to fight the officers when they explained he couldn’t be there. When he was asked to leave again and told he would be arrested if he did not, he became verbally aggressive toward the shelter staff. He was arrested and transported to Hoboken Police Headquarters. It was learned he had a warrant for his arrest out of Hudson County. Andrade was charged with disorderly conduct and defiant trespassing. He was ultimately transported to the Hudson County Correctional Facility. These charges are merely accusations and the defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty. #news #crime #newjersey
