On April 18th, 2024, deputies responded to a report of a disturbance at a golf resort hotel involving a physical altercation between two guests and a female patron drinking at the resort. Upon arrival, officers located the two guests involved in the lobby and spoke with them about what had happened. After speaking to the guests, deputies went to talk with the other woman involved in drinking on the patio, who claimed the guests had assaulted and harassed her. After reviewing CCTV, deputies learned the female suspect had pushed the two male guests while intoxicated, causing a commotion in the hotel. When confronted, the suspect exhibited clear signs of intoxication, including bloodshot eyes and the strong odor of alcohol, and was belligerent towards the officers. As officers attempted to detain the suspect, she resisted by pulling away and refusing to provide her hands. Despite officers' efforts to calm the situation, the suspect remained uncooperative, arguing with deputies throughout. She further refused to give officers a valid address after mentioning her 5-year-old son would be home alone due to her arrest. While detained in the patrol vehicle, the suspect kicked the car door. The suspect eventually calmed down but remained uncooperative. The suspect was charged with Resisting without Violence and Disorderly Intoxication. #police #bodycam #cops ~~~ ** Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only.
