Around 3:48 PM, they met with store staff in the loss prevention office. Employees said two people scanned some items but tried to leave with others for free. Security caught them at the door and held them until the police arrived. The suspects were Alexis Salas, 22, and Samora Turner, 20. Store cameras caught them skipping items at the self-checkout. Together, they tried to take $221.92 worth of goods. The officers talked to the staff and arrested both women. Police took Alexis and Samora to the station in separate cars. Once there, they were fingerprinted and photographed. Both faced shoplifting charges under 2C:20-11B(1). They were released after receiving summonses for court. As of December 31, 2025, both cases are still open in the Palisades Park Municipal Court. If you enjoyed this BodyCamBust video.
