In 1988, a routine morning in southern Israel turned into a national emergency when a bus carrying workers to the Negev Nuclear Research Center was hijacked by PLO terrorists. What followed was one of the most intense hostage situations in the country's history, later known as the Mother’s Bus attack. This documentary tells the story of how first responders, police, and elite military units were forced to make impossible decisions under pressure, culminating in a deadly rescue mission. From the moment the call came in, local police, counter-terror units, and Sayeret Matkal—the country’s most elite special forces—mobilized to the scene. As hours ticked by, negotiators and commanders faced a crisis that risked not only lives but also national security. Tensions escalated when a fatal mistake nearly derailed the entire operation Follow us on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/RealResponders For all questions, please contact owned-enquiries@littledotstudios.com
