On May 21, 2023, Dublin Police Officer Kinzel was working speed enforcement on I-270 when he observed a Honda Accord traveling at 84 miles per hour (MPH) in a 65 mph zone. When he pulled over the 21-year-old female driver, he observed an open container of alcohol in the car. He then requested the driver to exit the vehicle in order to perform standardized field sobriety tests (FSTs). At the conclusion of the FSTs, the driver was arrested for DUI. She was transported to the Dublin police station, where she was given an evidentiary breath test (EBT). The results of the EBT were 0.157% BAC. The outcome of the case is discussed at the end of the video.
