On February 10, 2026, Key West Police Officers responded to a hit and run car accident. Officer Osborne arrived first and found the suspect vehicle still occupied by a 37-year-old woman. She was asked to step out of her vehicle and she was given the chance to exchange insurance information with the alleged victim. However, she became belligerent and argumentative and soon found herself being detained in handcuffs. Her insufferable attitude continued throughout the encounter and she soon started demanding that she be allowed to call her dad and her lawyer. She was eventually arrested for numerous charges, including Driving Under the Influence and Leaving the Scene of an Accident. At the jail, she refused to provide a breath sample. She also refused to sign her citations, which lead to another charge. Her case is still open and all suspects are presumed to be innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
