On July 19, 2024 at approximately 2:23 PM, Sgt. Anthony Robbins with the Town of Clinton Police Department conducted a motor vehicle stop on a gray Mercedes Benz for speeding in the area of Center Street and Georges Place in the Town of Clinton, New Jersey. Once stopped, Sgt. Robbins made contact with the driver, identified as 57 year old Gamble of Clinton, NJ. According to reports, Sgt. Robbins detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage emanating from the vehicle and observed two open containers of alcohol in plain view within the vehicle. At around that time, Officer Max Wendling arrived on scene to take over the investigation. This video depicts the motor vehicle stop, investigation and arrest of the subject for what would turn out to be her 2nd DWI arrest within the past ten years. As seen in the video, the subject can be observed to be disoriented and unable to walk without assistance. The driver also appears to have defecated on herself as the officers observed a brown substance dripping down her leg. The driver was arrested and transported to the station where she provided a breath sample which indicated that her blood alcohol concentration was 0.25%BAC which is more than three times the legal limit to operate a motor vehicle in New Jersey. After the driver was processed, she was released into the custody of her father with a court date to appear on the charges. As of the date this video is posted to YouTube, the case is still pending in municipal court. Following the events of this video, this driver would be arrested two more times for DUI offenses within the span of 45 days.
