Auglaize County Sheriff's Office October 6th, 2021 Link to full video https://youtu.be/Oe4KI2uVJO0 --- It was reported early in the morning that James Wilcox, 25, threatened the life of a family member with a firearm. At the same time a theft took place in Cridersville. The suspect in that theft was later found to be James. Wapakoneta Police located James' vehicle and attempted to stop him. He refused to stop and went on a short pursuit. Auglaize Sheriff deputies were able to perform a PIT maneuever on James and take him into custody --- James was charged with - ORC 2921.331 - F3 - Flee and Elude - ORC 2921.12 - F3 - Tampering with Evidence - ORC 2903.21 - M1 - Aggravated Menacing - Charge later dismissed James pled guilty to charge 1 and charge 2. He was sentenced to 5 years of community control sanctions (probation). His driver's license was suspended for three (3) years. His handgun (Ruger 32 Magnum) was forfeited to the sheriff's office.
