A routine traffic stop turned viral after a school police lieutenant was pulled over in an unmarked vehicle with blue lights activated — and quickly made it clear he didn’t appreciate being treated like everyone else. Bodycam footage shows Lt. McClendon pulling rank, growing agitated, threatening legal action, and dismissing legitimate officer-safety concerns. An internal investigation later labeled his conduct unprofessional, demeaning, obstructive, confrontational, and aggressive — and recommended termination. Instead, the school superintendent overrode that recommendation and allowed McClendon to take three communication training classes. Four months later, McClendon was suspended without pay for being loud and belligerent after walking out of a mandatory training class. Yes. Training… again. This video breaks down: What happened during the traffic stop What the internal investigation actually found McClendon’s disciplinary history And why this raises serious questions about school police oversight, leadership, and accountability Because when the people tasked with “holding others accountable” can’t handle accountability themselves — the system has a problem. 📌 Watch.
