Newly released police body camera footage shows the full arrest of former Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler following a DUI crash in Franklin, Tennessee. According to the Franklin Police Department, officers responded to a collision where Cutler rear ended another vehicle with his Dodge Ram truck. The responding officers noted a strong odor of alcohol, slurred speech, and bloodshot eyes. Cutler first denied drinking before admitting he had “a little bit.” After refusing field sobriety tests, he was transported to a local hospital for a blood draw under a search warrant. Officers found two firearms inside his vehicle, including a loaded pistol, leading to an additional weapons charge. Cutler ultimately pleaded guilty to DUI in August and served a four-day jail sentence at the Williamson County Jail.
