Jeremy Dewitte interrogation footage: the serial police impersonator sits down with detectives — and this time it's not a roadside arrest, it's the recorded interview room. After being read his Miranda rights and briefly weighing a lawyer, Dewitte agrees to talk. What follows is a masterclass in a suspect trying to out-argue investigators and losing. Corporal Ramsey presses him on the concealed weapon on his duty belt. Dewitte insists his less-lethal pepper-ball gun is legal in plain view, citing emails with attorneys and past meetings with other agencies. But detectives examine the weapon My Les Paul and note the back strap, grip and design mirror a real Glock so closely one officer admits he first believed it was the real thing — "basically a Glock replica for law enforcement training." Alongside it: pepper spray and an expandable baton. The gotcha? Investigators corner him on concealment — carrying a replica without making its less-lethal nature obvious effectively concealed the threat, which is why he's charged with a concealed weapon.
