Please like, comment, and SHARE! 🙏 🔍 Episode Overview: At 7:44 p.m. on October 5, 2024, Ewing Township police rushed to a crash on Grand Avenue near Summit Avenue. A southbound 2023 Freightliner M2 got hit by a 2020 Chevrolet Traverse. The Chevy driver headed west on Summit, then turned north on Grand. She drifted into oncoming lanes and slammed the truck. Her car's front end crumpled bad. The truck's rear axle took damage too. Officer Hussein Mustafa got there first. He talked to the Chevy driver, a woman named Megan Fackler, and her three girls, ages 8, 7, and 4. Officer Phillip Culotta showed up soon after. He asked Megan what went down. She said she drove to her brother's with the kids. She acted confused. Culotta thought she might be drunk. Medics checked her. She skipped the hospital ride. Medics cleared her. Then cops asked her out of the car for sobriety tests. She stalled at first. But she tried. Culotta ran the Walk and Turn. She missed heel-to-toe steps. Forgot to count out loud. Turned all wrong. Next came One Leg Stand. She dropped her foot quick. Lost balance fast. Culotta saw the crash, open wine bottles in her car, and her test fails. He arrested her for DUI. Her brother took the three kids. He trailed the ambulance to the hospital with them. Cops held her Chevy 12 hours under John's Law. Culotta drove her to the station. There, they read her the standard motor vehicle form. She gave breath samples. Officer Lookner ran the Alcotest. Her BAC hit 0.371%. That's near five times over 0.08%. Once cleared, they booked her at Mercer County jail. Culotta gave her tickets for: driving drunk, reckless driving, careless driving, unregistered car, no insurance card. He charged her with three counts of child endangerment under 2C:24-4A(2). Records show her prior DWI arrest in Metuchen on March 8, 1:23 First "literally" 5:19 so when the daughter said they were going the other direction, she was right, not the mom 5:54 how did she even drive???. 6:00 The booze is catching up to her as she sits there.
