In this video we break down the intense events that unfolded at the Short Hills Post Office. An observant detective noticed a suspicious individual actively stealing mail from an outgoing drop box. As backup units flooded the area, the suspect realized he was spotted and took off running. Law enforcement officers initiated a fast-paced foot chase and apprehended him shortly after. The investigation did not stop there because officers searched the surrounding area and located two additional suspects attempting to hide inside a vehicle. A search revealed they were in possession of stolen credit cards belonging to six separate individuals. All three individuals were taken into custody and slapped with heavy charges ranging from conspiracy and possession of burglary tools to identity theft and credit card fraud.
