Santa Rosa County, Florida – July 6, 2025 Police responded to a newly constructed neighborhood after receiving reports of two individuals trespassing inside a community pool area. According to dispatch, witnesses observed a man and woman climbing over the gated pool fence before entering the pool fully clothed. When deputies arrived on scene, they located the pair matching the provided description. During the investigation, the male admitted they did not have permission to enter the pool and stated they were simply trying to cool off from the heat. While officers were identifying both individuals, they discovered the female had provided a false name to law enforcement. The woman was arrested for providing false identification to a law enforcement officer. The male was issued a trespass warning and released from the scene. This incident was captured on police body camera footage.
