Think we won't notice you using your phone because it's on your lap? Think we won't notice because you're in an elevated cab? Well, we noticed. We routinely have officers patrolling the county's road network in unmarked vehicles, including traffic cars and even a HGV (so we can see inside your elevated cab, and can see you with your phone in your lap). You might get away with it once, twice, or even three times, but is it worth it? Will that call, text or TikTok have been worthwhile when you kill somebody? It won't happen to you... until it does. Seen a traffic offence yourself? Report it to us via Operation Snap: https://www.durham.police.uk/police-forces/durham-constabulary/areas/campaigns/campaigns/operation-snap/
