Report: On September 30, 2026, at approximately 12:50PM, I observed two motorcycles traveling southbound on US Highway 65 in Springhill traveling 80 miles per hour in a 55 mile per hour zone. As I was conducting a U-Turn to initiate a traffic stop, both bikes accelerated and fled southbound. I notified Troop A Dispatch that I was in pursuit, and gave vehicle / rider description. I was able to catch up to one bike, a Red, 2025 Honda CBR500. Due to the mechanical limitations of the bike, the rider pulled to the shoulder and surrendered. Jacob L. Nunn was taken into custody, transported to Faulkner County Unit, and booked on the charges listed below. 5-54-125(d)(3) 2023: Fleeing - Felony - Vehicle or Conveyance - Substantial Danger of Death 27-50-302(7): Speeding - More than 15 MPH Over Limit 27-22-104: No Liability Insurance 27-20-106: Motorcycle - Riding Without Operators License 27-51-404: Improper Turn Signal
