In January 2025, Cocoa Beach police responded to a house party and found over 200 teenagers drinking. The party was at the home of Roosevelt Elementary principal Elizabeth Hill-Brodigan. A teacher from the same school, Karly Anderson, was on scene and intoxicated. The original bodycam footage from that night made national news — alcohol, guns on Snapchat, and a teacher screaming at the responding officer. Now that the case has been resolved, the full investigative footage is available for the first time. This is what happened behind the scenes — the detective phone calls, the self-incriminating conversation no one expected, the warrant call, and the moment both women were taken into custody at the Cocoa Beach Police Department. Both were charged with child neglect and contributing to the delinquency of minors. Both invoked their right to an attorney. Neither served jail time. New footage obtained through public records request. Footage obtained via public records request to the Cocoa Beach Police Department under Florida Statute Chapter 119. All juveniles are redacted in accordance with applicable law.
