On July 1, 2025. Officers from the West Bend Police Department were dispatched to the report of a one vehicle accident. While en route, dispatch advised that the driver of the vehicle (Isaiah) advised he was intoxicated and crashed his Subaru into a pole. Isaiah also told dispatch that he did not want to have contact with officers and said he would run if officers went to his residence. Upon arrival, officers observed a Subaru that had crashed into a utility pole. The vehicle was unoccupied, and nobody was in the immediate area. After checking the vehicle’s registration, officers confirmed that Isaiah was the registered owner and that his driver’s license was suspended. Shortly later, officers responded to Isaiah’s residence and spoke with his roommate. The roommate explained that he had just gotten home and spoken with Isaiah, who appeared scared before he fled the residence on foot. While officers were investigating the crash, dispatch advised that Isaiah's phone was pinging on the Eisenbahn State Trail. Officers then began searching the area for Isaiah and observed a male walking shirtless in the street. Officers believed the man to be Isaiah and shouted commands for him to lie down. Isaiah complied and was placed in handcuffs where officers detected the odor of intoxicants coming from his person and noted that Isaiah's speech was slow and slurred. While walking him to a squad car, Isaiah began to pull his arms away and officers took him to the ground. After a short struggle, officers were able to secure Isaiah into a squad car. Isaiah then began swearing and kicking the interior of the squad car. He was then transported to the West Bend Police Department and secured in a booking room. While inside of the booking room, Isaiah repeatedly screamed and kicked the door. Due to Isaiah's combative behavior and refusal to comply, officers decided not to proceed with the field sobriety tests and Isaiah was escorted back to a squad car and placed in the back seat. Isaiah declined consent to a blood draw and stated he did not consent to a sample of his breath. Officers received a search warrant for his blood and determined due to Isaiah's behavior, an ambulance would be needed to transport him to the hospital. The West Bend Fire Department responded and took custody of Isaiah. Upon arrival to the hospital, Isaiah became belligerent. He began yelling repeatedly, attempting to hit and kick officers and medical staff, and made numerous verbal threats towards officers. Isaiah constantly tensed up his body and thrashed around. Five law enforcement officers, two Froedtert security members, and multiple medical staff members were required to keep Isaiah restrained. During the struggle, Isaiah spit on an officer and attempted to spit on medical staff. A mask was placed over Isaiah's face to prevent him from spitting. Isaiah was eventually sedated by Hospital staff and a blood draw was performed before he was released to Acute Care Services A search of Isaiah’s vehicle revealed two open alcohol bottles (Jose Cuervo and Crown Royal Whiskey). Officers also located a green leafy substance which later tested positive for THC. Isaiah was found guilty for OWI (2nd), Battery or Threat to a Law Enforcement Officer, and Throw/Discharge Bodily Fluid at Public Safety Worker. He was sentenced to 28 months in prison and 3 years of probation. This video is for educational purposes only.
