Police responded to a suspicious person call at a home on Kenyon Street after reports of an unauthorized individual inside the residence. When officers arrived, residents advised that the suspect, identified as David Edwards, had entered the home without permission and was found asleep on the couch. According to the homeowners, he had previously been banned from the property following an earlier incident. Officers made contact with Edwards and gave multiple commands for him to exit the residence. He refused to comply and began actively resisting officers, leading to a physical removal from inside the home. During the encounter, a taser was deployed but proved ineffective. After continued resistance, officers were eventually able to gain control and take the suspect into custody.
