🚨 2 BMWs Flee after abandoned 911 call On January 21, 2025, St. Francois County dispatch received a 911 call reporting a burglary in progress. The caller said multiple subjects were trying to break in, then hung up. No exact address was given, but the 911 system showed an approximate address. A St. Francois County deputy and MSHP trooper responded. When officers arrived, two BMW X2s — a silver Missouri‑registered BMW (EN79674) and a black Illinois‑registered BMW (EN79514) — backed out of the neighboring driveway and fled as law enforcement pulled in. Believing the vehicles were connected to the burglary call, Trooper Coleman attempted a reasonable‑suspicion stop. Both BMWs fled northbound in the southbound lane, driving into oncoming traffic at high speed. The pursuit continued onto Route N and then eastbound on Missouri 32, where both vehicles repeatedly entered opposing lanes, creating a substantial risk of serious injury or death to civilians. At Davis Crossing, officers successfully deployed stop sticks, deflating multiple tires on both vehicles. 🚓 Silver BMW — Driver: Justin Pearce | Passenger: Devonte Moret Disabled shortly after stop sticks Pearce and his passenger were apprehended immediately by Deputies Bennett (#993) and Harrington (#1001) Pearce is charged with Aggravated Fleeing a Stop or Detention (Felony) A warrant was requested due to Pearce living in Illinois and the severity of the offense 🚓 Black BMW — Driver: Ryan Peart | Passenger: Anthony Needham The black BMW continued fleeing in a hazardous manner until it became disabled at Missouri 32 & Weir Street in Leadington.
