On July 31, 2025, an officer initiated a traffic stop on a vehicle for an improper turn and illegally dark window tint. A records check had already shown the registered owner had a suspended driver's license. During the stop, the driver was immediately argumentative and claimed his license was valid. He then accused the officer of "racially profiling" him. When asked about the required BAIID ignition device, the suspect stated it was in his truck, not the car he was driving. This bodycam shows the investigation escalates as officers, after confirming the suspension, attempt to place him under arrest. The suspect initially refused to exit and reached toward the passenger seat. Once out of the car, he physically pulled his arms away from officers and refused commands. While being searched, he began kicking his left foot so hard his shoe flew off, telling officers he is "a grown man" and "f**k the police". His demeanor notably worsened when a bystander began recording. He was arrested for Driving While License Suspended, Resisting a Peace Officer, and other traffic violations.
