On October 24, 2022, officers responded to a call about a belligerent customer refusing to exit a bar. According to police bodycam footage, the highly intoxicated woman had been causing a massive scene, fighting with her boyfriend, and even took her shirt off inside the establishment. When officers asked her to step outside, she repeatedly refused, yelling that she was a "paying customer" and did not have to leave. Body camera video shows the encounter quickly escalating as she actively resisted being placed in handcuffs, claiming her arm was "metal" and threatening the officers with a $3 million lawsuit. She continuously refused to get into the patrol car, forcing officers to physically handle her while she bragged about her uncle being the "best lawyer" in the state of Georgia. She was ultimately taken to jail and charged with disorderly conduct, public indecency, public intoxication, obstruction of law enforcement, and resisting arrest.
