Officers spent nearly the entire encounter asking him to do one thing: walk off the secured side of the terminal. The airline had already rebooked him for the next day. He was asked to leave by three separate officers before he was handcuffed and cited for public drunkenness. He asked officers to test him. The preliminary breath test came back .203 more than two and a half times Georgia's legal limit to drive. At the Chatham County Detention Center, intake staff declined to accept him for booking.
